LINNEA SINCLAIR

A former news reporter and retired private detective, Linnea Sinclair has managed to use all her college degrees (journalism and criminology) but hasn’t soothed the yearning in her soul to travel the galaxy. To that end, she writes some of the most highly-regarded, fun science fiction and fantasy romance novels on the shelves today. Her books include:

Finders Keepers, (Sapphire Award, PEARL Award, ERA Award, EPPIE Award, Locus magazine Top Ten Best Seller, CataRomance Reviews Reviewer’s Choice Award);

Gabriel’s Ghost (Affaire de Coeur award, FWA Royal Palm Award, Sapphire Award 2nd place, Prism Award 2nd place); and

An Accidental Goddess (Windy City RWA Choice Award winner, Sapphire Award 2nd place [tie with Gabriel’s Ghost]). An Accidental Goddess was the recipient of Romantic Times BookClub magazine's Gold Medal Top Pick award and was also named as a ‘romance classic’ by Publisher’s Weekly (May 23, 2005).

Her essay column for Futures magazine was a Pushcart Literary Nominee in 1998 and in 2002-2003 she was a John W. Campbell award nominee for best new science fiction author.

Sinclair lives in Ft Lauderdale, Florida with her husband, a professional golfer, and their two thoroughly spoiled cats. Her previous careers as news reporter and investigator make her an enthusiastic and energetic interviewee and a natural crowd pleaser at book signings. In addition to writing, she teaches seminars in both the craft of writing and private investigation techniques for mystery authors via on-line writing sites and at writing conventions nationwide. She can be reached via email at linnea@linneasinclair.com or through her website at http://www.linneasinclair.com/ .

"Linnea Sinclair is one of the brightest new voices in science fiction romance." –Catherine Asaro, author of Schism and Skyfall

ACCIDENTAL GODDESS
by Linnea Sinclair

Raheiran Special Forces Captain Gillaine Davré has just woken up in some unknown station, wondering where the last three hundred years have gone. The last thing she remembers is her ship being attacked. Now it seems that while she was time-traveling, she was ordained a Goddess… Gillaine’s only hope of survival rests with dangerously seductive Admiral “Mack” Makarian, who suspects her of being a smuggler—or worse. But he can’t begin to imagine the full extent of it. For Gillaine is now Lady Kiasidira, holy icon to countless believers, including Mack—a man who inspires feelings in her that are far from saintly…feelings she knows are mutual. But when their flirtation is interrupted by a treacherous enemy from the past, Gillaine’s secret—and secret desires—could destroy them both…
